Dispatch to carry out the storage time expired cargo has been received, what should I do?
1. According to Article 170 of Customs Law, when 3 months have passed after being taken in the bonded area, the storage time expires, so prompt import procedures shall take place and if there's no will to import the cargo or if it is not possible to import the cargo, a dispatch to send it back to the country of departure should be sent out.(Dispatch to carry out storage time expired cargo).
2. If no importation procedure or sending back measure takes place until the set date, then the corresponding cargo should be disposed by sale and when not sold, it would be reverted to the State or be annihilated.
What is the annihilation procedures?
1. The annihilation procedure for cargo that's expired storage time except the ones that's been disposed by sale and been reverted to the State, it is as follows:
① Order of Annihilation(Customs/Quarantine) → ② Annihilation Approval Application & Issuance of Approval(Customs) → ③ Pay Warehouse Charges → ④ Getting on transportation vehicle → ⑤ Incineration & Picture Taking(Company) → ⑥ Issuance of Incineration Confirmation → ⑦ Completion Report(Customs/Quarantine)
What is Specifications on carrying in cargo inspection operation?
When taking out imported goods from the warehouse, if there's a DMG or a possibility of DMG, outer cover, inner cover and when required, the content is checked through so as to use the data for documents on claims which is likely to occur in the future. However, when a DMG is clearly acknowledged, an agreement is entered with IRR Team and act as a supplementary.
I would like to know the procedure to applying for repairing works.
When repairing works, Report which has place and reason for the equipment and in case of imported goods, the name of the ship or airplane or the imported date and air cargo AWB number, size, quantity & price, package kinds, number and the name of used material, the purpose and method of repairing and planned time and place of installation must be submitted to the head of customs(special service government employee or in charge of bonded area).
And when the repair job is complete, report with the quantity and price of the corresponding items, package kinds and quantity, name, quantity and price of the used materials and remaining materials' name, quantity, price and the completion date must be submitted to head of customs(special service government employee or in charge of bonded area).(Customs Law Enforcement Ordinance article 177)
