What is the difference between BAG and CGO?
CGO is a freight that is being transported after getting an official export & import license. Whereas, BAG is luggage carried by the passenger as he gets on board.

The cargo was not able to leave on the reserved flight, what is the reason?
The most common cause would be that general freight is adjusted when there's BAG OVER FLOW. And sometimes, but not often problems such as PAYLOAD OVER & C.G. TROUBLE can occur. Therefore, in order to deliver your freight on time, you should make reservations two days in advance at least and when SKD is not on daily basis, you should provide it more often. How can you check on Cargo ON-BOARD?
A. If you request for on-board confirmation after 1 hour from the scheduled departure time through your agency, your agency will check it on Asiana Cargo Homepage then let you know the result.
I'd like to take my dog to Los Angeles, what should I do?
1) In the cabin
- Pet animals should be kept in a water-proof, well ventilated but locked cage and placed under your seat throughout the flight. They may be given water only before departure.
- They should not leave the cage and no food or beverages may be given to them.
- The sum of the three dimensions (width + depth + height) of the cage should not exceed 115cm or the height should not exceed 36cm.
- A mother pet and its young should be kept in two separate cages.
- Pet animals should each weigh 5 kg or less (including the cage weight).
- The number of pet animals allowed for carriage on a plane varies depending on the aircraft type and seating class (First/Business/Economy).
2) In the cargo space
- There is no limit applied to the number of pet animals allowed for carriage in the cargo space, but two or more animals cannot be shut into one cage.
- The sum of the three dimensions (width + depth + height) of the cage should not exceed 158cm.
3) Airfreight or air cargo
- Any pet animals can be transported by air cargo service without no restriction on types, sizes or number.
- Just like other types of cargo, reservation should be made with Air Cargo Reservation (032-744-2352~7).
